  5. What special tools do I need for development?

You should install Universal Interfaces 3.3 or later into your development system to build these samples. Universal Interfaces 3.2 did not include the 8.6 capable version of the MPLibrary link library. The InterfaceLib from Universal Interfaces 3.2 did not include several timing functions used by the CPU Meter sample. Universal Unterfaces 3.3 or later is required for access to the Multiprocessing.h and the MPLibrary.stub link library and is compatible with System 8.6 and later.

  9. How do I debug this stuff?

  11. MacsBug version 6.6 is capable of debugging tasks much in the same way as it debugs within Mac itself. In addition, the MP API has debugging functions that allow you access to higher level task debugging information.
